Marvel at over 100 species of animals living in one of the oldest zoos in Malaysia, Zoo Johor.
Make your way to the Johor Safari park, located on Jalan Gertak Merah, and get acquainted with the many animals and flora available here. This zoo is situated at the heart of Johor Bahru and has over 100 species of animals like gorillas, elephants, horses, exotic birds like flamingos and wild animals such as lions.
Some endangered animals are also placed here for protection and care, and lucky visitors might get the chance to see them too!
At an affordable entrance fee of RM3, the Johor Zoo was built in 1928 and is considered as one of the oldest zoos in Malaysia. Other interesting places within the vicinity include the Royal Museum and the Johor Bahru Palace Grounds.
