Homestay Kampung Sri Paya
If you are keen to experience local village culture and take a peek at Johor’s traditional cottage industry, then the Kg. Sri Paya Homestay is just for you.
The village was founded in 1959 by the late Hj Roslan Bin Haji Abu Nahar and Ujang Yusof. It is located about 20 kilometres from Johor Bahru city and is just a stone’s throw away from the Sime Darby palm oil plantation.
A memorable experience awaits you at the homestay, living in a real Johor village where you get to live the idyllic provincial life.
Each homestay has four rooms all on a twin sharing basis. Each room is about 170 square feet and is equipped with a queen bed, air-conditioning, fans, wardrobe and toilet.
Feast on traditional delicacies such as Johor Assam Pedas, Nasi Ambeng, Pecel Lele and Sambal Goreng, all made to order in the kampung kitchens just for you.
After a full stomach, go and explore the traditional cottage industries that produce Mee Siput, Otak-Otak, Tempe and Mushrooms in the village. Entirely a fun and fulfilling adventure.
